Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer - Retail in the Chicago/Downers Grove area to deliver superior customer service while growing mortgage loan business through internal and external referrals. You will advise clients on loan options, coordinate with originators for underwriting, and manage relationships from application to closing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank.
• NMLS license is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops new and expands internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Advises clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products.
• Provides excellent customer service from approval through closing, coordinating with loan origination sources to verify information for underwriting.
• Maintains client relationships and supports customers through the loan process.
• Assists customers with completing loan applications.
