Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in loan processing or mortgage servicing, 2+ years in supervision, and strong Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff in Consumer Mortgage Servicing and related tasks such as escrow administration, loan processing, loan maintenance, investor reporting, and customer statements/notices.
  • Plan, assign and evaluate work; provide guidance and coaching; conduct performance appraisals and partner with HR as needed.
  • Monitor and improve departmental systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency and compliance; lead regulatory updates and risk management initiatives.
  • Serve as backup for Departmental Manager and contribute to audits, evaluations, and department-wide initiatives.

This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity based out of our Administrative Services Center location in East Petersburg, PA.

The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise a group of employees engaged in Consumer Mortgage Servicing, may include but not limited to escrow administration, loan transaction processing, loan maintenance, investor reporting, new loan boarding and customer statements and notices. Oversee the execution of departmental operating procedures to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance, evaluate procedure effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary. Responsible to manage and coach team to deliver on established Service Level Agreements while operating in alignment with Key Performance Indicators ("KPI") and within the established risk threshold. Promotes a culture of continuous improvement toward delivery of a productive, positive, and professional customer experience.

  • Plan, assign and evaluate the work of staff, provide guidance and coaching, establish individual goals and objectives, monitor volume, workflow, and quality, manage performance to include conducting performance appraisals, partner with Human Resources to resolve employment related issues
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate departmental systems, processes, and procedures with respect to accuracy, efficiency, and compliance, lead regulatory and system updates, and develop recommendations while promoting culture of constant improvement
  • Contribute to broader corporate and department initiatives, including audits, application evaluation and testing, mergers and acquisitions, and vendor management; serve as backup for Departmental Manager
  • Establish procedures/parameters, report results, analyze trends, interact with corporate compliance, business compliance/risk, Consumer Partners, and Consumer Default Management

  • Responsibilities for the assistant manager are broken out by an area. The assistant manager is responsible for managing one of the following process areas in according with the Essential Job duties listed above New Loan Boarding / Account set up, Escrow Administration, Investor Reporting / Accounting, or Account processing / maintenance.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. (Required)
Required Experience
  • 5 or more years loan processing, banking, or mortgage servicing experience.
  • 2 or more years Supervisory Role.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of Excel to analyze data and performance trends. (Preferred)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location. The salary range for this position is $64,700.00 - $107,900.00 annually. Additional Compensation Components This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
