Growing financial institution in South FL is looking for a mortgage expert to play a key role in facilitating the buying and selling of mortgage assets. You will be the point person working with a cross-functional team members to execute on our goal and onboard new buyers.

Directly responsible for the daily administration of the Mortgage secondary market initiatives (i.e., pipeline management, interest rate risk management and best execution, hedging and executing trades, extensions and pair-offs, loan delivery). Acts as a liaison to investors and maintains favorable, professional relationships.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years proven experience in residential lending secondary market operations, in a managerial role.
• Recent working knowledge of secondary market activities, including product guideline, loan pricing, investor relationships, trade execution, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination, underwriting, and servicing processes.
• Familiarity with mortgage-backed securities (MBS), government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), and other secondary market participants.
• Proficient in utilizing mortgage loan origination systems (LOS), secondary market platforms, and analytical tools required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic decisions.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices in the residential mortgage industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., MBA, CMB) a plus.
