Job summary

CoVantage Credit Union seeks a Mortgage Processing Manager to lead the Mortgage Processing team and ensure seamless transactions for members. You will work hands on with a great group when joining full-time and help drive the mission forward for members’ futures.

As part of your role, you’ll support process improvements, training, and maintaining high levels of service while balancing productivity with a positive, team-based environment. This position offers growth within a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interactions.
• Ability to organize and prioritize duties and maintain high accuracy under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortgage Processing staff and oversee daily processing activities.
• Identify and implement process improvements with the mortgage management team.
• Ensure staff have necessary skills and tools to serve members professionally.
• Train new staff and lead ongoing education for Mortgage Loan Processors.
• Balance individual productivity with team goals and service quality.

Job Duties:

• Participate in all daily functions related to mortgage processing and servicing, while providing general leadership and direction to Mortgage Processing staff
• Work with the mortgage management team to identify process improvements and implement approved changes
• Ensure Mortgage Loan Processors have the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to provide members with quality, professional service
• Act as the primary trainer for new staff and lead continuing education for the Mortgage Loan Processors
• Find a successful balance between achieving individual productivity, job performance, and service goals while maintaining a positive, team-based experience

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working as a Mortgage Loan Processor or mortgage or related position
• Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows software programs
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in direct, professional contact with a wide variety of people
• Are able to organize and prioritize duties, while working accurately under pressureHave above average accuracy and attention to detail
