Job summary

Guild Mortgage seeks a Loan Processor Assistant in Moses Lake, WA to support loan processors by reviewing file documentation, ordering supporting documents, and helping prepare loans for underwriting and closing.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment, and communicate effectively with loan officers, title companies, and customers.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; some related college courses or degree desired.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective time and resource management.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Requests and reviews file documentation, including income/employment verifications, bank statements or verifications of deposit and property valuations; opens escrow and title.
• Reviews all documentation received for completeness and ensures appropriate data is entered in the origination system and uploaded to the paperless file system.
• Communicates with loan processor regarding documentation needed to process the loan and follow up to ensure receipt of needed documents.
• Assists loan processor to gather information to clear underwriting conditions and responds to inquiries.
• Communicates with loan officer, loan processor, closer, title companies and insurance companies to ensure loans close timely.
• Assists loan processor to help resolve investor stipulations.
• Stays up to date on current industry standards.
• Maintains complete information within the Loan Processing System while managing a high volume of loans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
