Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an AVP/Associate in Mortgage Pricing & Analytics within Global Wealth Management. This role operates at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution to drive growth, profitability, and client experience.

You will own pricing strategies, translate market trends into insights, and collaborate with Sales, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Product to enable timely data-driven decisions. This position emphasizes analytics, modeling, and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of mortgage pricing, banking, financial services, or analytics-driven roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, rate sheets, and pricing dynamics preferred.
  • Solid grasp of P&L drivers, profitability analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced Excel and VBA skills (modeling, scenario analysis, data manipulation).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI/automation tools (e.g., Python, Alteryx, or similar) to enhance analytics and efficiency.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and translate insights into business decisions.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $140,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
