Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC seeks a Pre-Approval Manager to oversee loan processes from start to finish and guide borrowers to the best financial program. You’ll audit income, assets, DU and credit, manage a diverse loan pipeline, and ensure accurate disclosures while aligning with borrower needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 3–5 years in residential mortgage processing, with strong math, analytics, communication, and prioritization skills. Encompass LOS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 3-5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Knowledge of RESPA guidelines and mortgage regulations.
• Excellent math and analytics skills and strong communication.
• Proficiency in DU, LP, Outlook and Windows; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by communicating with borrowers about loan programs and costs.
• Review income/assets, run DU and verify credit documentation for loan stability.
• Review disclosure packages and deliver to borrowers including rate and re-disclosures.
• Manage pipelines for Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203k, Jumbo and reverse mortgages.
• Pre-underwrite items to support loan approvals and tailor loans to borrower needs.
