Job Description

This person manages the sale, delivery, and funding of secondary market loans. The role includes analyzing files for HMDA reporting accuracy and communicating independently with investors and insurers to resolve post‑closing issues and exceptions.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Manage the post‑closing sale of first mortgage loans by reviewing, insuring, and delivering all mortgage files to investors and guarantors within allotted timeframes.
  • Maintain knowledge of FHA, VA, Rural Development, Private Mortgage Insurance, and investor guidelines.
  • Monitor the pipeline of files at different stages to ensure deadlines are met and follow up on documentation.
  • Understand mortgage regulations such as Fair Lending, TRID, RESPA, Reg Z and Reg B.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, realtors, 3rd party service providers, and co‑workers.
  • Track and resolve exceptions from investors and insurers to ensure timely purchase, insurance, and guaranty of loans.
  • Respond to post‑closing audit and file review requests from internal and external examiners, auditors, investors, quality control providers, or other parties as assigned by management.
  • Verify the integrity of HMDA data prior to delivery to the investor and determine reportability.
  • Handle all non‑public information confidentially.
  • Attend team meetings and training seminars as directed by supervisor.
  • Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures and participate in required compliance training.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree and at least one year of relevant work experience, or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills with ability to interact with customers, realtors, and other professionals.
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending concepts, practices, and procedures.
Compensation and Hours

Hourly Grade 4.
