Job summary
California Credit Union is seeking a VP Mortgage Loan Officer in Glendale, CA to manage the full mortgage loan cycle from application to funding. You will generate origination prospects through outbound marketing, networking, and referrals, while ensuring exceptional member service and accurate processing with processing, underwriting, and funding teams.
Responsibilities include guiding applicants through CCU product types, prequalifying loans, managing pipelines, and coordinating rate locks.
Qualifications
- Three years of mortgage origination experience with documented history (2023–2025 and YTD 2026).
- Active NMLS required; High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Ability to self-source referral partners and generate new business.
Responsibilities
- Complete full cycle of mortgage loan applications from receipt to funding.
- Guide applicants through CCU products (Fixed/ARM) and rates.
- Input loan data into LOS and coordinate with processors, underwriting, and funding.
- Maintain an active pipeline and communicate status to applicants and staff.
- Outreach to prospective borrowers and referrals to generate originations.
