Job summary

NBH Bank in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Loan Processor II to handle FHA/VA/CONV loan processing within established guidelines. You will verify financial information, prepare disclosures, and manage regulatory requirements while collaborating with mortgage bankers to drive pipeline progression.

The role requires at least 2 years of residential loan processing experience in FHA/VA/Conventional products, with strong attention to detail and adherence to bank policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process FHA/VA/CONV/RH/Mortgage Revenue Bond loans within guidelines.
  • Prepare and send disclosures as needed and manage HMDA/REG B requirements.
  • Order and follow up on services (appraisals, tax transcripts, title reports, etc.).
  • Upload documents into Encompass and maintain the loan file conversation log.
  • Meet weekly with mortgage bankers to discuss pipeline progression and strategy.

As a Loan Processor II, you will process FHA/VA/CONV/RH/Mortgage Revenue Bond loans within established guidelines and procedures for accuracy and efficiency and obtain/verify financial information as required by FHA/VA/CONV/RH/Mortgage Revenue Bond loan products to include additional information required by Peoples. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing and sending disclosures as needed, managing REGB and HMDA requirements in a timely manner, and meeting weekly with mortgage bankers to discuss pipeline progression and strategy. Along with, ensuring that the information in the field screens for the processors are accurate and complete and meets the required fields to submit to underwriting. You will place orders for various services such as agency case numbers, tax transcripts, appraisals, flood certs, written verifications, title reports, homeowner's insurance, and payoffs, and following up on orders to third parties to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, you will upload documents into Encompass, document the conversation log in the loan file with all activities, meet internal service standards, and perform special projects and other duties as assigned. You are expected to build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications.

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Minimum two (2) years of retail FHA/VA/CONVENTIONAL residential loan processing experience required.
