Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. seeks Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors (1099 Independent Contractors) to perform property inspections for mortgage companies across designated counties.

You can work part-time or full-time with a flexible schedule and get paid a flat rate per inspection, with weekly direct deposit and territory-based assignments. No licensing required, prior inspection experience is a plus, and you manage your own workload.

Qualifications

• No licensing or certifications required.
• Prior inspection experience is a plus, but not required.
• Independent, self-motivated, able to travel locally.
• Comfortable inspecting occupied, vacant, and rural properties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using the InspectorADE mobile app.
• Communicate regularly with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.

Your role as a Mortgage Field Inspector

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgageloans
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant)
