Job summary

Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC in Orange, CA is seeking a Loss Mitigation Post Closing Coordinator I to oversee receipt, monitoring, and delivery of modification collateral documents to FHA, VA, USDA, and other parties. You will support compliance with HAMP, FHA, VA, USDA, and Ginnie Mae requirements for loan modifications and related claims.

The role includes assisting with title issues, providing loan status reports, and following company policies and relevant laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• One (1) or more years’ mortgage experience preferred.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, etc.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and assign modification documents to the Post Closing Representatives.
• Monitor receipt and delivery of applicable Loan Modification documents to appropriate agencies for recording and collateral requirements.
• Work with third party vendors to track recording timelines.
• Ensure collateral documents are properly executed and delivered timely to the Collateral Department and/or custodian.
• Serve as witness to loan modification documents.
• Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as needed.
