Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer in Mississippi to originate residential mortgage loans through a branch network. You will complete applications, evaluate requests, and maintain contact with customers while building referral partnerships.

Responsibilities include marketing efforts, cross-selling bank products, and ensuring compliance with regulations. A commission-based compensation structure applies, with varying total earnings based on location and performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior Mortgage Loan Officer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to loan processing and underwriting.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customers, communicates progress, and collects required documentation.
• Structures loans to comply with lending practices and federal regulations.
• Develops detailed marketing/business plans and source of loan customers.
