Position SummaryThe Mortgage Loan Servicing Specialist II is responsible for internal and external customer inquiries, monetary transactions in accordance with Bank and regulatory requirements, credit bureau reporting, Special Asset loan servicing and other portfolio monitoring for the Mortgage loan portfolio. Advanced loan transactions, system maintenance.Duties & ResponsibilitiesTimely and accurate response to internal requests/inquires via service casesHigh level interaction with Investors for servicing, reporting and researchTracking of internal errors and resolution where needed.Core system file maintenanceResearch and resolve internal and external client requestsDaily report monitoringBalancing internal General LedgersReview and resolution of Non-Post ReportAssist other areas and special projects as needed.Special Asset loan maintenanceCollaboration with front line partners on issue resolutionEducation & ExperienceKnowledge of:Mortgage Loan Servicing and/or related Loan Operations experienceHigh level knowledge of investor servicing parameters and reporting regulationsKnowledge of bank compliance and regulatory requirementsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to:Demonstrate a proactive approach to incorporating changes in processes and procedures with focus on improving customer service and process efficiency.Perform duties under frequent time pressures.Demonstrate effective problem resolution by making effective recommendations and implementing appropriate action.Work independently with frequent interruptions.Adapt to and accept changs in process requirementsEducation and Training:Requires High School diploma; higher education preferred.5-7 years Mortgage operations and/or investor servicing experience requiredRequires knowledge of Microsoft Office.Compensation and BenefitsSalary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends.
