Job summary

Northrim BanCorp, Inc. is hiring a Mortgage Loan Processor in Athens, GA. You will work with Loan Originators, Underwriters, and borrowers to ensure loan files are complete, compliant, and ready for closing.

Responsibilities include reviewing documents, verifying borrower data, ordering required reports, and communicating loan status. A strong customer service approach and knowledge of real estate documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mortgage industry experience is a plus, but strong candidates are welcome.
• Military education or experience may substitute for education or work experience.
• Strong customer service mindset with clear, confident communication skills.
• Solid understanding of real estate documentation, compliance, and loan policies.
• Ability to manage multiple files, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Comfortable navigating loan systems and standard office equipment.
• Quick to learn new software and process updates.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Verify borrower information, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with borrowers and Loan Originators.
• Order credit reports, appraisals, flood certifications, title work, insurance, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding loan status, next steps, and timelines.
• Perform thorough document audits prior to funding.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and company policies.

As a Mortgage Loan Processor , you’ll play a critical role in turning loan applications into successful closings. You’ll work closely with Loan Originators, Underwriters, and borrowers to make sure every loan file is complete, compliant, and ready to cross the finish line.

• Review incoming loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
