Job summary

The Symicor Group is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer for a Chicago, IL community bank client. You will manage residential mortgage files from application through underwriting, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with lending regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and closing agents to facilitate timely closings; offering strong attention to detail and excellent communication to prevent

Qualifications

• 1–3 years mortgage processing experience.
• Familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan programs.
• Knowledge of TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA regulations.
• LOS experience (Encompass or similar).
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review mortgage applications for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect and verify required documentation (income, assets, employment).
• Order and track appraisals, title reports, and other documents.
• Prepare loan files for underwriting and submit complete packages.
• Communicate with borrowers to obtain missing documentation and updates.
• Work with loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and closing agents.
• Review underwriting conditions and coordinate with borrowers.
