Job summary

VOLTO Consulting is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor in Cincinnati, OH, to manage the pipeline of mortgage loans through the origination process. Responsibilities include communicating with borrowers, entering loan information, and coordinating internally for closing. Candidates should have 1-2 years of mortgage processing experience, knowledge of loan cycles, and strong analytical and communication skills. This is a full-time position working onsite in Cincinnati with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• One to two years of conventional mortgage processing experience.
• Knowledge of full loan cycle processing (from beginning to end).
• Strong understanding of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) and HARP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of mortgage loans throughout the origination process.
• Perform outbound calls/emails to borrowers regarding loan status.
• Enter accurate and timely loan information into the Loan Origination System.
• Review and approve loan documentation per authority level.
• Submit loans to underwriting for conditional review.

Mortgage Loan Processor is responsible for managing a pipeline of mortgage loans throughout the mortgage origination process.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls/emails to the borrower(s) regarding loan status in accordance with lender's policy and procedures and within the standard performance levels agreed.
• Receive and respond to inbound calls/emails from the lender and borrowers regarding loan status in accordance with lender's policy and procedures and within the standard performance levels agreed.
• Enter accurate and timely loan information into the Loan Origination System.
• Upon order and receipt of loan documentation, review and approve the loan per authority level.
• Submit loans to underwriting for conditional review and final decision.
• Coordinate with lender's sales team prior to withdrawal of a loan application.
• Hand-off internally to closing unit after performing pre-closing steps.

Knowledge / Experience

• One to two years of conventional mortgage processing experience.
• Knowledge of full loan cycle processing (from beginning to end).
• Strong understanding of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Prospector (LP) and HARP guidelines.
