Responsibilities include:

1. Originating quality Conventional, FHA, VA, RD, and THDA residential loans based on secondary market guidelines.
2. Developing mortgage loan business with new prospects.
3. Calling on realtors and builders to solicit mortgage loans.
4. Networking with realtors, attorneys, and CPAs to generate a referral base.
5. Interviewing loan applicants.
6. Generating complete loan applications with supporting documentation for processing.
7. Achieving production volume goals.
8. Ensuring timely closings and compliance with all federal regulations, including consumer protection and AML laws.
9. Performing other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or GED.
2. Minimum of 3 years residential mortgage origination experience.
3. Ability to develop business in targeted market areas with minimal leads.
4. Extensive knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
