Overview

Mortgage Loan Officer - Robinson, PA at Huntington National Bank. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service while developing mortgage loan business through internal and external referral sources and building relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Develops new and expands internal and external referral sources to grow mortgage business.
• Using consultative selling techniques, advise clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products.
• Provide excellent customer service from application through closing, coordinating with loan origination sources to verify information required for underwriting.
• Maintain client relationships.
• Assist customers with completing loan applications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• One or more years of mortgage loan origination experience, preferably at a bank
• NMLS license

Preferred Qualifications

• Pipeline and book of business
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Knowledge of mortgage loan products (conventional, FHA/VA, construction lending and portfolio programs)
• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• PC and Internet skills

Workplace Type
