As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will guide new home purchasers through the loan process from application to approval and settlement. Your responsibilities include prequalifying buyers, reviewing financing options, assisting with credit repair, and serving as the primary contact for homebuyers. Your role directly impacts customers' ability to secure their dream home.

Responsibilities
  1. Guide new home purchasers through the loan process from application to settlement.
  2. Prequalify buyers, review financing options, and assist with credit challenges.
  3. Serve as the primary contact for homebuyers throughout the process.
  4. Stay knowledgeable about all loan programs to stay competitive.
  5. Originate high-quality loan applications with supporting documentation.
  6. Maintain weekly contact with borrowers, brokers, and partners to answer questions, share updates, and build relationships.
  7. Develop partnerships with the Sales team to support monthly community sales goals.
  8. Educate team members on industry changes and new products.
  9. Provide excellent service to builders and homebuyers while meeting performance goals.
Qualifications
  1. Meet all National and State licensing requirements.
  2. At least 2 years of experience in conventional and government loans.
  3. Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and State housing loans.
  4. Excellent selling, customer service, and vocational skills.
  5. Drug testing and credit checks are required.
