Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Russian-speaking loan officer assistant/processor for our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of recent mortgage assistance and/or processing experience in the Wholesale Broker channel, a can-do attitude, and a proven track record of providing solutions in the mortgage lending industry.

Role Overview

As a Loan Processor on a mission-driven team, you play a vital role in managing your team’s loan pipeline. You will handle paperwork and regularly interact with borrowers and referral partners. Your attention to detail, comfort with numbers and technology, and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Responsibilities

1. Collect and verify necessary financial documentation to determine creditworthiness.
2. Secure property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, title searches, site surveys, contracts, and property tax records.
3. Assemble and submit loan packages to lender underwriters for approval or denial.
4. Serve as a liaison between borrowers, mortgage brokers, loan officers, real estate agents, and underwriters to support loan approval.
5. Ensure that loan files comply with banking and regulatory guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
2. Strong critical thinking, time management, and attention to detail.
3. Extensive knowledge of CONV, FHA, VA, USDA products and guidelines.
4. Minimum of 3 years of mortgage loan processing experience.

Compensation

$40,000 - $65,000 annually.
