Job summary

Longview Bank's Covington Branch is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer to join our residential lending team. This full-time, non-exempt role combines client-facing origination with careful credit analysis and compliance, delivering tailored loan solutions.

You will build relationships in the community, originate residential loans, support branch operations, and ensure exceptional service while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking, or financial services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to analyze financial information and assess risk.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service your loan portfolio, including delinquency follow-up.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, and community organizations.
• Represent the bank at community events and networking opportunities.
• Support a positive and team-oriented work environment.
• Oversee administration of loans you originate.
• Prepare reports and attend meetings as required.
• Cross-sell Bank products and services.
• Complete all required training, including BSA/AML.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulations.

A Mortgage Loan Officer is a critical member of the bank's overall team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building long-term relationships, and contributing to the bank’s growth through quality lending.

As a key member of the team, you will work directly with customers to originate residential loans, support overall branch operations, and deliver exceptional service.
