Job summary

Blair Allen Financial seeks a Mortgage Lender to originate and manage residential loans across Phoenix, AZ, Rapid City, SD and Billings, MT. This full-time, on-site role guides clients from prequalification to closing and evaluates credit while coordinating with real estate partners.

You will structure loan products, ensure regulatory compliance, and actively manage an loan pipeline to grow volume and deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

Role Description The Mortgage Lender is a full-time, on-site role available in Phoenix, AZ, Rapid City, SD & Billings, MT, responsible for originating and managing residential mortgage loans for a diverse client base. This role includes consulting with borrowers to assess financial goals, explaining loan options, and guiding clients through the full mortgage process from prequalification to closing. Daily activities involve evaluating creditworthiness, reviewing financial documentation, structuring loan products, and ensuring loans comply with regulatory and company standards. The Mortgage Lender will collaborate with real estate agents, internal teams, and external partners to drive loan volume while maintaining a strong focus on customer experience. This position also requires active pipeline management, regular follow-up with clients, and use of Blair Allen’s technology platforms to track applications and support efficient loan processing.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Mortgage Lending and Mortgages, with experience advising clients on appropriate loan products.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Loans and Loan Origination, including end-to-end management of the application and closing process.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Debt Consolidation and related strategies that help clients optimize their overall financial position.
  • Relevant qualifications include prior experience as a mortgage loan officer or lender, strong knowledge of federal and state lending regulations, and familiarity with conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan programs.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with real estate professionals and internal operations teams.
  • Proficiency with mortgage origination software and CRM tools; strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Active mortgage licensing as required by applicable state and federal regulations (e.g., NMLS registration) or the ability to obtain and maintain such licensing.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is beneficial.
