Job summary

Washington State Employees Credit Union seeks a driven Mortgage Loan Officer - External to grow our residential lending presence. You will originate mortgage loans, market products, and guide members through home financing with confidence and care.

This full-time role operates across WA branches with some days at HQ. You will manage the full loan lifecycle, stay current on licensing, and deliver an exceptional member experience while anticipating market trends.

Qualifications

• Mortgage loan origination experience including FHA/VA familiarity.
• Ability to develop and maintain referral partner networks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans with accurate pricing, structuring and disclosures.
• Market WSECU mortgage products and develop a personal marketing plan to meet production goals.
• Deliver high-quality member experiences and collaborate with internal partners to streamline the mortgage process.
• Manage the full loan lifecycle: maintain pipeline, submit packages, and ensure timely closings.
• Maintain licensing including NMLS continuing education and stay current on products and pricing.
• Participate in team meetings and training; support branch operations and process improvements.
