Job summary

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and Georgia Bar in good standing.
• 1-8 years of litigation experience preferred.
• 1-8 years of motion practice experience.
• 1-8 years of courtroom experience.
• Knowledge of Georgia Mortgage Foreclosure Law helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with Georgia Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
• Foreclosure litigation experience with residential or commercial property a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of contested mortgage foreclosure matters for lenders and investors.
• Appear in state and federal court for hearings and settlements.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and resolutions.
• Analyze loan files and title reports; draft motions and discovery responses; attend trials.
• Conduct legal research and writing as part of case strategy.
