Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. seeks Independent Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections for mortgage companies across Alaska. You’ll work on a flexible schedule with part-time or full-time options, traveling locally and managing your own timetable.

Role involves exterior occupancy checks, occasional interior inspections, photographing properties, and documenting conditions using InspectorADE. Training and support are provided; earnings are per inspection with weekly direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable vehicle with auto insurance required.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android) and internet access.
• Printer and basic office supplies.
• Ability to obtain Shield ID (onboarding with GIS provides link).
• HUD/InspectorKeys access provided after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using the InspectorADE mobile app.
• Communicate with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.

This contract position performs mortgage field inspections in assigned counties throughoutAK. Inspectors are not required to cover the entire state. Coverage areas will be determined based on your location and availability.
