Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Proficient experience in securitized products, fixed income, or related analytical role.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with interest in mortgage markets.
• Familiarity with Python and Excel/VBA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for a fast-paced trading environment.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity while applying responsible data use.

Responsibilities

• Support trade execution, risk management, and P&L reporting for the CMO Derivatives desk.
• Analyze market trends, prepayment dynamics, customer flows, and relative value opportunities.
• Develop and maintain trading tools, analytics, and process automation using Python and Excel/VBA.
• Partner with risk, operations, technology, and compliance teams to support desk operations.
