Job summary
Software Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, data integration, and mortgage domain expertise to join our team.
The role focuses on delivering capabilities within the Enterprise Data Platform, translating stakeholder needs into user stories, and coordinating with data engineers and product owners. Experience with Microsoft Fabric/Azure data services is preferred, along with ETL/ELT tools, data governance, and strong SQL and Power
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar in data/analytics.
- Experience delivering data integration and analytics solutions.
- Morgage domain knowledge is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills and data governance familiarity.
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document requirements for enterprise reporting and analytics.
- Partner with Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Architects on data services.
- Gather requirements for source system changes and data integrations.
- Create user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, data dictionaries.
- Support backlog grooming, estimation, and definition of done.
- Maintain backlog priorities across multiple value streams.
- Coordinate release readiness, data cutovers, and go/no-go criteria.
- Coordinate stakeholder demos and feedback loops.
- Promote data governance and privacy/security adherence.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and self-service analytics.
