Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in mortgage collections or equivalent
• 1–3 years of collections or loan servicing experience preferred
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Initiate and receive calls from borrowers 60–89 days delinquent and negotiate payment arrangements
• Develop customized payment plans to resolve delinquency
• Review borrowers for Home Retention Programs and determine eligibility for assistance options
• Ensure compliance with FDCPA, RESPA, and FCRA while issuing demand letters and meeting timelines
• Monitor portfolio performance and meet department goals and standards
• Other duties as assigned
