Job summary

Dwight Capital is seeking a Closing Analyst in Columbus, OH to manage the loan closing process from pre- to post-closing. You will coordinate with internal teams, title agents, and warehouse lenders to ensure closings comply with underwriting terms.

You will collect due diligence, prepare closing documents, track deadlines, and maintain accurate closing files while supporting post-closing tasks and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with closing under HUD/FHA mortgage insurance programs.
• Knowledge of Ginnie Mae mortgage backed securities program.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates conference calls with internal and external parties to organize the closing process.
• Collects and reviews due diligence documentation to ensure funding and securitization conditions are met.
• Prepares draft closing documents for review and approval with underwriting and legal teams.
• Updates closing documents to reflect changes in deal structure and terms.
• Maintains complete closing files in line with agency requirements and timelines.
• Monitors closing clearance processes and deadlines with internal and external parties.
• Escalates issues related to documentation, third parties, or compliance.
• Coordinates insurance review with a third-party vendor and analyzes escrows.
• Prepares closing statements and reconciles costs and third-party invoices.
• Coordinates loan funding and escrow with title agents and lenders.
• Supports pre-closing readiness and post-closing processes as needed.
• Maintains reports and participates in pipeline and status meetings.
