Job summary

Dwight & Co. is seeking a Closing Analyst in Columbus, OH to manage the loan closing process from pre-closing through post-closing. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, third-party vendors, title agents, and warehouse lenders to ensure closings align with underwriting terms.

You will review due diligence, prepare closing documents, and maintain accurate closing files while ensuring compliance with agency requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience with closing under HUD/FHA mortgage insurance programs
• Knowledge of Ginnie Mae mortgage-backed securities program
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities
• Strong customer service mindset
• Team player

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conference calls with internal and external parties to organize the closing process
• Collect, review, and process due diligence documentation ensuring compliance with funding and securitization conditions
• Coordinate submission of draft loan closing documents for review and approval with underwriting and legal teams
• Prepare and reflect changes in closing documents to reflect deal structure and costs
• Maintain complete closing files and ensure adherence to agency requirements
• Monitor closing clearance processes and meet agency deadlines
• Identify and escalate issues related to documentation, third parties, or compliance
• Coordinate insurance review and obtain compliant certificates
• Prepare and reconcile loan closing statements, costs, and third-party invoices
• Coordinate loan funding with warehouse lenders and title agents
• Assist in pre-closing readiness and post-closing processes
• Maintain internal reports and participate in pipeline calls
• Support continuous process improvement and other duties as assigned
