Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Mortgage Support Specialist in Augusta, GA hybrid role. You will assist the Mortgage Banker as a point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process and help increase production in the area.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple files and data points.
• Strong communication with customers, builders, and realtors throughout the application process.
• Familiarity with FHA, State Housing Conventional, and FNMA/FMLMC loans preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer and mortgage processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for customers, builders, and realtors during the application process.
• Support the Mortgage Banker to increase production in the assigned area.
• Track loans through closing and respond to status questions and underwriting requirements.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed and/or assigned.
• Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
