Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of reporting/traffic/anchoring.
• Previous traffic anchoring a definite plus but on-air reporters considered.
• Previous anchor duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Weekday traffic anchor for the entirety of the morning show.
• Reporting work, as needed.
• Fill-in anchoring.
• Relaying impactful traffic situations to the story desk for push alerts and stories.
• Notifying morning show producers when traffic should play bigger due to breaking accidents.
• Covering traffic, including evacuations and hurricanes.
