NOW HIRING - Swim Instructors!


Are you passionate about swimming and helping others learn? Looking for a flexible and fun part-time job where you can share your love for the water? If you're enthusiastic about teaching swimming skills and ensuring the safety of others, this could be the perfect role for you!


Not Certified? No Problem!

We'll train you! No experience necessary - we offer a training program that will help you become familiar with the YUSA swim curriculum and give you opportunities to shadow and learn from expert instructors.



What You'll Do:

As a Swim Instructor at the YMCA, you will:



  • Teach swimming techniques and skills to children and adults of all ages.

  • Lead group or individual lessons based on the YUSA curriculum, adapting to the needs of different skill levels.

  • Help swimmers progress from basic skills to more advanced techniques, all while promoting water safety.

  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure all participants are swimming in safe areas.

  • Assess the skill levels of swimmers and offer personalized guidance to improve their swimming ability.

Qualifications


  • Must be a minimum of 16 years of age




  • Also looking for Private instructors




  • Current certifications in Lifeguard/Swim Instructor, Pro CPR, First Aid and Oxygen, or willing to obtain




  • Looking for morning availability.
