Job summary

Soccer Shots Chattanooga is seeking coaches to lead 30‑minute soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 at local childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces.

You will be the face of the organization, delivering energetic, safe sessions, and ensuring a positive experience for every child each week. Must pass a background check, have reliable transportation, and commit to the season.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and follow a schedule.
• Strong communication and fun, energetic attitude with kids.

Job description

We are looking for coaches that specifically can work anywhere between 9am-2pm! Locations would be at local childcare centers and preschools.

Soccer Shots Chattanooga is a youth soccer organization for children 2 – 8 years old that works in childcare centers, preschools, and public spaces, and we’re looking for coaches.

We’ve got the curriculum, the equipment, and the apparel – you bring your enthusiasm, responsibility, and love for children and soccer! As a Soccer Shots soccer coach, you will be the face of our organization. You will be out in the community running our 30 – 45 minute soccer sessions for children at schools, parks, and public spaces, and will be responsible for creating an awesome experience for each and every child.

It’s fun for sure, but it’s also a lot of work, and we have high expectations. But, if you’re up for the challenge, have experience working with children, and want to be a part of an organization that’s making a difference every day.

Other details:

• Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
• Must have your own car, and it’s reliable
• Ability to work with little supervision (once you get your schedule, you’ll be expected to show up, on time, at every location each week)
• You’ll commit to the entire season – this is very important given the age of children we work with
• Pay starts at $18 for each 30 minute session
• We have coaches coaching anywhere from 3 – 30+ sessions/week depending on availability
• Coaches with Saturday morning availability are prioritized
