iHeartMedia Markets in Maitland, FL is seeking a Board Operator to ensure our broadcasts run smoothly and sound great, serving millions of listeners across America. Your precision and professionalism will drive every show, ad, and moment with clarity.

You will operate the broadcast console, monitor programming, coordinate with talent and traffic teams, troubleshoot issues in real time, and record/load audio for playback using automation systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with broadcast equipment and automation systems is preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.
• Monitor on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance.
• Coordinate with talent, producers, and traffic teams for transitions and ad placements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and escalate when needed.
• Record, edit, and load audio content for playback using automation systems.
• Maintain logs and documentation for regulatory and internal compliance.
• Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows.

• Troubleshoot technical issues in real time and elevate as needed.

What You'll Need:

• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with broadcast equipment and automation systems (e.g., NexGen, Adobe Audition).


• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.


• Strong Social Media Skills across all platforms


• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework a plus.
