Cox Media Group's WNGC Athens Radio is seeking a dynamic Morning Show Co-Host to join our heritage country station in North Georgia. You will be a primary on-air voice, driving audience loyalty, ratings, and digital engagement across on-air, online, and in-person experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong storytelling, quick wit, and a passion for country music and local culture, with the ability to tease, pace, and deliver engaging content live.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated on-air radio experience with storytelling and audience engagement.
• Strong on-air presence with relatable point of view and humor.
• Experience with audio editing and radio automation systems.
• Ability to create social media and video content to support shows.

Responsibilities

• Co-host a live morning show with compelling storytelling and listener interaction.
• Develop daily content plans, features, story arcs, and digital content across platforms.
• Voice-track shifts and create promotional content as needed.
• Represent WNGC at community events and client activities to drive growth.
• Operate studio equipment and support show planning and reviews.
• Collaborate across Programming, Promotions, Digital, and Sales teams.
