Job summary

Feeding San Diego is seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Member to support safe distribution of food at our distribution center. Under supervision, you will pull daily orders, stage them by instruction, and assist with information management to ensure accurate distributions.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires forklift and pallet jack experience, pushing for accurate recordkeeping, and adherence to safety standards. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 5:00 am to 1:30 pm in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Distribution Center environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; food handler’s safety certification advantageous.
• Forklift experience and ability to use pallet jacks safely.

Responsibilities

• Pull daily orders from pick lists and stage completed orders.
• Load trucks using pallet jack/forklift following SOPs.
• Stock volunteer area with products using pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain temperature logs, donation receipts, and maintenance logs.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform cleaning tasks per SOPs.
• Provide customer service to partners and volunteers; communicate inventory variances.
