Dunbar Security Solutions is hiring a dependable Full-Time Morning Security Officer for an industrial facility in Elkton, MD. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property during daily operations.

The ideal candidate will be professional, vigilant, able to work independently, pass background checks, hold a Maryland security license, and have reliable transportation to cover morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Maryland Security Officer License required.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug testing.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in an industrial environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work independently.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional and visible presence throughout assigned areas of the property.
• Monitor entrances, gates, loading docks, and restricted access points.
• Observe surveillance systems, alarms, and access control equipment.
• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, parking lots, storage areas, and perimeter locations.
• Report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or policy violations promptly.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, or incidents following site procedures.
• Contact law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel when required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation.
• Provide courteous assistance to employees, vendors, and visitors.
• Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety procedures.
