Allied Universal in Columbia, SC is seeking a Detention Security Guard – Mornings to monitor and safeguard clients across facilities. This full-time, unarmed patrol role emphasizes visible presence, exceptional customer service, and strict adherence to site policies.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the property, buildings, parking areas and perimeter.
Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Document patrols, incidents and daily activities in accordance with site procedures.
