Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard - Full Time - Mornings in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will serve and safeguard clients as an unarmed patrol officer, conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous, professional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a visible security presence and conduct routine property patrols.
• Monitor access points and report security concerns per procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and document actions for supervisors.
• Background check required and compliance with laws and licensing where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, building exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete required reports, maintain accurate activity logs, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
