Job summary

Valor Hospitality Partners, LLC seeks a part-time Morning Restaurant Server at Hilton College Station. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with attentive service in a busy hotel dining environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, handling payments, and participating in team meetings. The role requires a high school diploma and 3–6 months in food/beverage service, plus the ability to stand for long periods and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• 3–6 months in a food/beverage services environment.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and take food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Memorize menu items, recipes and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in restaurant, wait-station, and kitchen service areas.
• Control allocated guest checks by following check-use procedures and documenting information as orders are taken.
• Receive proper payment from guests and ensure accuracy of guest checks and payment method.
• Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to enhance communication and knowledge of products and services.
• Present a clean and professional appearance at all times and maintain a courteous demeanor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
