Job summary

Champions Social Club in North Dallas is seeking a part-time Prep Cook/Dishwasher to support a high-standard kitchen operation. You will prepare ingredients, handle dishwashing, maintain sanitation, and assist with opening and closing routines under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

The role requires a current Food Handler Certification, bilingual Spanish/English, a valid driver’s license, and a HS diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years in food service.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler Certification required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of restaurant or food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and complete daily food prep according to recipes, production schedules, and the Daily Prep List.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen, prep, and dishwashing area in accordance with food safety standards.
• Stock workstations and assist with opening, closing, and daily kitchen setup.
• Assist the Culinary team with basic food preparation, including cutting meats, vegetables, and other ingredients.
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, rotation, and storage procedures using the FIFO method.
• Operate, clean, and maintain the dish machine and other kitchen equipment.
• Remove trash, complete daily cleaning tasks, and support overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with the Culinary team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support daily kitchen operations.
