Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a full-time cook in Vergennes, VT. The role prepares food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards and ensures quality service in a timely manner.

You will follow HACCP guidelines, maintain a clean kitchen, and work with team members to meet production schedules. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:30 am–2:00 pm, with online applications accepted for consideration.

Qualifications

• Prep cook/sandwich making experience required.
• Must follow HACCP standards.
• Weekday early morning shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards and temperatures, ensuring appealing presentation.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed and reports any maintenance needs to supervisor.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of food and supplies; supports production planning and record keeping.
