Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood and urine specimens, accession orders, and prepare samples for testing. You will work Monday through Friday mornings, ensuring accuracy and compassionate patient interaction.

The role requires venipuncture proficiency, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with laboratory teams across departments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated venipuncture skills with various devices (needles, vacutainers, syringes).
• Proficiency with basic computer use including data entry.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per procedures (blood/urine) and prepare for testing.
• Accession patient and test information in Care 360 system.
• Process specimens and obtain billing/diagnostic information as needed.
• Communicate professionally with internal teams, patients, and clients.
