Job summary

Manteo Community Health Center is seeking a Part-Time Phlebotomist to join our morning lab team at Ocracoke Health Center. Schedule is 8am–12pm, at least 3 days per week, with a steady, predictable routine in a patient-focused environment.

The successful candidate will perform venipuncture for all ages, maintain accurate records, and uphold safety and cleanliness while delivering calm, professional patient care during morning hours.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently during morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture collection for patients of all ages.
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow lab protocols.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide a calm, professional, and reassuring experience for patients.
