Job summary

Jordan Bank School is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Aide for a part-time role. The position runs one hour daily from 8:30am to 9:30am to support the breakfast program and foster healthy eating habits among students.

The ideal candidate has a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced school environment. A background check is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in food service or working with children is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast items in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure that the breakfast area is clean, organized, and welcoming for students.
• Assist students with food selection and promote healthy choices.
• Monitor student behavior during breakfast to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
• Maintain inventory of breakfast supplies and report any needs to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive breakfast experience for all students.
• Assist in clean-up and proper storage of leftover food items.
