Job summary

The Goddard School located in Marshallton (West Chester) seeks two assistant teachers for the mornings and afternoons. The role supports the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, stimulating classroom and developing young learners through engaging activities.

Hours are approx. 7:30am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–6:00pm, with 4–5 days a week. No nights or weekends. Competitive hourly wage, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare/clean up classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Assist in communicating with parents about their child’s progress and activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.

The Goddard School® located in Marshallton (West Chester) is seeking TWO motivated and caring assistant teachers to work in the morning or afternoon. Assistant Teacher for the afternoons. The hours would be, approximately 1pm - 6pm, with the option of working 4 or 5 days a week. Assistant Teacher for the mornings.
