Job summary

Gray Media is seeking a Bilingual Multiplatform Producer for Telemundo Atlanta (WKTB) to craft daily morning newscasts and expand multiplatform content in a fast-paced newsroom.

The ideal candidate will handle urgent coverage, weather and traffic alerts, and work with anchors to shape compelling stories while building strong relationships within the Atlanta Spanish-speaking community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent experience.
• Experience with news-producing software (ENPS preferred).
• Experience with video editing software (Edius, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Native-level Spanish reading and writing; strong English to Spanish translation skills.
• 2+ years of experience producing newscasts.

Responsibilities

• Produce, write, edit, and organize Telemundo Atlanta’s new Spanish-language morning show.
• Maintain working knowledge of current events, community issues, and local contacts in Georgia.
• Search for wire services, network feeds, websites, and other sources for relevant material.
• Coordinate story assignments for anchors and MMJs with news management.
• Train, manage, and provide feedback to team members; inspire the team to produce engaging multiplatform content.
• Direct newsroom operations and review scripts for shows and newscasts.
• Ensure story selection and placement fit the mission of local news coverage.
• Contribute ideas for long-term projects including special events and breaking news coverage.
