Qualifications

• Must have technical skills in medical nursing procedures and basic nursing principles.
• Must become knowledgeable of Orange Grove Center's protocols and procedures.
• Must demonstrate time management and willingness to learn about seizure disorders.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered.
• Ride on Orange Grove buses to support students' medical needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for students and staff.
• Ensure safety of students and individuals; respond to emergencies.
• Follow policies related to on-the-job injuries.
• Document incidents and communicate health issues to nursing leadership.
• Assist in educating staff about students' conditions.
• Support program goals as part of a team.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and equipment.
